Monday Night Traveling League

This is a competitive open league that gives the curlers the privilege of curling in different curling clubs throughout the season.  Each team pays their curling fees to their respective clubs, and then pay a $240.00 league fee that goes into the prize purse.  The league consists of a round robin schedule with the top four teams making the playoffs.

The league consist of 12 teams and curl out of four different communities.  They are as follows.

Schedule

This year's league consists of a 11 week Round Robin Schedule starting November 16, 2009.  After week 11 the league will be split into 2 pools based on the standings after Round Robin Schedule is completed.  A second season will then resume with a 5 week round robin schedule within the 2 pools.  If there are tie rankings to determine which pool you belong in then the "who beat who" during the first 11 weeks will come into effect.  If nothing can be determined by that format then, unfortunately, the rankings will be done by drawing from a hat.  The venues for the second half will be based on rankings.  The first place team will have home ice advantage (based on available ice), then the second place team, etc, etc.
